We chose to run four surveys - staff, parents, pupils and governors - at the same
time. The surveys were administered by QDP with efficiency and caused minimum additional
work for our admin/SLT. The results are very encouraging and have highlighted areas
which we had not considered to be areas for development or areas of considerable

The Weaver Primary School
I chose QDP from a range of other providers who provide similar surveys for a number
of reasons, notably cost, service, workload and quality of information.
The information the surveys provided was exactly what I wanted to help with school
development planning. It was easy to undertake and was managed very effectively
from the outset by QDP who sent the surveys to us fully copied and prepared and
with returnable bags. The administration of the surveys was efficient and reduced
the workload I have experienced in the past with other school surveys. The reports
were informative and raised questions for us that we have been able to use to take
our school forward. From the very outset, QDP guided us and helped us to manage
the surveys to fit into our time line and schedule. They returned the completed
surveys to us ahead of time (in under a week) which ensured I was able to give prompt
feedback to stakeholders and begin to act upon findings. I will use QDP again next
year to check ‘distance travelled’ between this year and next and to ensure that
we continue to highlight areas that really need it.

We have just completed our 1st set of surveys with QDP.
We received plenty of support and guidance all the way. The reports were easy to
read and informative. They gave us some interesting and surprising results. These
findings have enabled us to quantify our strengths and development areas. They have
also enabled us to direct our attention to areas of development that we previously
thought were strengths. This has to be good for our School Improvement Strategy.
